SKYBOUND 2026
June Holidays Day Camp
Explore Windmere! A world of various stories from little floating islands across the sky. Embark on skyfaring adventures in 2.5 hour sessions across a 3 or 5 day camp.
Engage in creative storytelling through an adventure that will span across the camp. Guided by our trained Lore Masters and facilitators, kids will join others within their age group to share in the experience of learning through meaningful and creative discoveries through table top role-playing.
Every year, young adventurers from across SKYBOUND gather at the legendary Compass Academy to begin their journey as Seekers. Nestled amongst floating islands, colourful skyships, wandering sky beasts, and towering windmills, the Academy is a place of discovery, exploration, and endless stories waiting to be told.

Why Storytelling Matters
Stories shape how we communicate, connect and understand the world around us.
Through collaborative storytelling, children learn how to express ideas, solve problems, work together and think creatively in dynamic social situations.
At Lore Obscure, tabletop roleplaying games become a framework for meaningful learning, encouraging imagination, empathy, communication and critical thinking through guided adventures.

Why
Frequently asked
Questions
-
Table Top Role Playing Games (TTRPG) is a live, collaborative storytelling experience. Kids (and adults) work together as a team to solve puzzles and adventures with the help of some game tools like dice.
-
Not at all! We welcome total beginners, and even advanced players to the same table. Our Lore Masters, or facilitators, will help guide and teach everything your child needs to know. No prior experience needed.
-
Yes, but kids will be too busy having fun to notice! They practice quick math, reading, creative problem-solving, teamwork, and empathy.
-
Yes. We equip participants with papers, pencil and dice.
-
TTRPGs are great for shy kids! Playing a brave character gives them a safe way to speak up, and our guides make sure everyone is included at their own comfort level.
-
Yes you can! We even encourage parents to have family sessions of their own with their kids.
However, if you prefer to allow your children time to organically socialise and collaborate with other kids in their age range, our facilitators will be there to manage their engagement. -
We keep tables small from 3 to 6 players, to allow everyone a turn in the spotlight.
-
Absolutely! Playing as a family would allow for kids at different age ranges to play and learn together.
