A celebrated adventurer has called his old companions together for an intimate dinner. Once, they were a band of heroes: fighting side by side, crossing distant lands, saving each other’s lives and collecting more than a few scars along the way. But time has taken them down different paths, and this reunion brings old friendships, rivalries, grudges and questions of trust back to the same table.
Then, before the night is over, the reunion becomes the scene of a murder. Everyone has a motive. Everyone is hiding something. And to uncover the truth, these former companions will have to decide how well they really know the people they once trusted with their lives.
A Hero's Welcome is an original Jubensha game of scripted roleplay, mystery and social deduction. Each player steps into a pre-written character with their own history, relationships, secrets and objectives, then works out who to trust, what to reveal and what really happened as the evening unfolds. No roleplaying or tabletop experience is required: everything you need to play your character is provided, and the Lore Master will guide the group through the story.
Difficulty Level: 3 (Hard)
Duration: 3 hours
This game requires EXACTLY 6 PLAYERS. In the event that the number of players is not met for any given date, players will be fully refunded.
